An exciting interim opportunity has arisen with a substantial client (T/O c.£800M) based in London for a Strategic Cost Manager.
You will be responsible for the creation of a strategic plan to reduce overhead rates by 2025.
Activities will include:
- Collating, understanding and analysing the current cost base
- Helping the business to define overhead requirements at all levels within the business
- Working with senior executives and management to assemble ideas on cost reduction
- Setting out the milestone plan, including quantification
- Identifying quick wins
We are looking for someone who is a qualified accountant with a background in finance. You must have previous experience delivering cost transformation/cost strategy within a large, complex business. Knowledge of project and change management is essential.
You will also possess the gravitas to work with senior stakeholders across all functions (Executive Team, Operations, Finance, HR, Commercial, Procurement and IT).
This is a 6 to 8 month contract, and we are looking for an immediate start.
