Fjord are working with a utilities client in London to help hire a skilled Risk and Assurance Advisor / Internal Auditor.
This is a busy role that will give you great exposure to the operational side of the business. On a daily basis, you will be working on compliance, operational, health and safety, forensic and financial control reviews, and drafting audit reports accordingly. You will conduct ad-hoc investigations, report findings, conclusions and recommendations through to the Head of Risk and Assurance.
It is integral that you have great customer facing / services skills and are able to manage a variety of stakeholders at differing levels. The Risk and Assurance department is a business partner, not the blocker.
It is essential that you have experience of the following:
- Operational audits
- Health and safety audits
- Demonstrable experience conducting investigations across a broad spectrum of topics
The department has recently undergone significant changes, including a new Head of Risk and Assurance, and as such it is a great opportunity to come in and make an impact, quickly.
