Fjord are proud to be working alongside the UK’s leading independent oil and gas business to support the hire of a Revenue & Production Accountant. This is an interim role paying between £350 and £400 per day (dependant on experience), is based in central Aberdeen and is an on-going contract.

Reporting to a Senior Revenue and Production Accountant, the Revenue and Production Accountant is responsible working with Group Finance to provide revenue and production accounting and reporting solutions across its North Sea assets. This role is split 75% revenue and 25% JV accounting. You will also get involved in a transition project as necessary (i.e. delivering the Finance Operating Model, assisting with data migration and UAT).

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for complete and accurate accounting and reporting to the company’s hydrocarbon revenue, stocks and over / underlift across all operated and non-operated assets. You will also take ownership for ensuring invoices are prepared and issued correctly, manage account reconciliations and prepare monthly accounting and reporting in adherence to accounting policies.

It is absolutely essential that you have revenue and production accounting experience within an upstream oil and gas environment, as well as an accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) and Sun System experience – these are non-negotiable.

If you are interested to know more, please apply on-line and one of the team will be in touch ASAP to tell you more.
