Fabulous role with an upstream Oil and Gas business in Aberdeen. This is a contract role that will take you to the end of the year as an absolute minimum, but is likely to go on for longer depending on business need.
In this position you will work with the Operational Asset Team and Group Finance to ensure reliable actual and forecast costs through the application of cost management, contracts and procurements and control processes.
It is absolutely essential that you have upstream E&P industry experience and you will have a solid understanding of cost management including ‘Value of Work Done’ and ‘Forecast to Complete’. You will also have a sound understanding of contracts and procurement and finance systems (SUN ideally) and you will be highly analytical.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with budget holders to prepare business plans, Value of Work Done and forecasts as well as tracking commitments and invoices against activities. You will also support the budget holders in their decision making and you will collaborate with other key stakeholders including Contract Owners, Contract Holders, Cost Accountants and externally JV Partners.
